'Little Rosie'

Hi everyone!  My goodness where has this week gone?  I have some good news today, my eldest son has passed his driving test at last!  I feel very proud of him! Bless him, he is so pleased!

Well today's post is an LOTV stamp called 'Little Rosie with Cake', isn't she a cutie?  I have coloured her with my copics (getting addicted now lol).

I have used papers from Papermania 'Rose Garden', Papermania gems, Martha Stewart daisy punch, and glittered the hairband, skirt, shoes and icing and the copics used are as follows:-

Face: E00, E000, E21, R20
Hair: E11, E31, E33
Blouse: G000, G00, BG23
Skirt/Shoes/Hairband: RV10, RV21, RV23

First Card Using Copics

Hello everyone hope your having a nice Monday!

Today I have a picture of my first card coloured using copics, still a long way to go but I am enjoying using them, just got to practice, practice, practice!  I used a LOTV stamp which is called 'The Little Things'.  I love these stamps they are so cute!

I used My Mind's Eye papers, circle and scalloped nestabilities to cut out and emboss the picture and frame, and added some crystals to add a bit of bling.  I forgot to note which copics I used, must remember that in future lol!

Colouring With Copics

I just wanted to tell you all about a website that I found about copic colouring.  I came across this site which is run by a lovely lady called Suzanne Dean...and what she doesn't know about colouring with copics really isnt worth knowing!  She is fantastic! Suzanne has lots of info on her site as well as brilliant tutorials which are wonderful to watch and learn from.

Suzanne also has a Colour Me Creative Classroom site which you can join and also pay to take online classes with her, one of which I am going to register for the end of this month.  I am really excited about learning to colour with copics, I've had a little go and made a card which I am going to be uploading hopefully tomorrow, but I have a long way to go lol!

I have added a link to Suzanne's website in my sidebar, so please go on over and take a look at what you could be learning with her!

Anyhow, I'm going back to practice my colouring and tomorrow I shall have a go at taking a picture of my card so I can put it on here!

Parchment Cinderella Shoe

Here is a picture of a shoe that I made a little while ago. It was a little bit of a challenge putting it together but I love it!

Pink Parchment Card

This is a pretty pink card that I made at a parchment club that I go to.

The card has a flower shaped aperture on the front with the main design done on a separate sheet behind it.

My First Attempt!

At last my first attempt at putting a photo of one of my parchment cards on my blog! The card is the first one i've done from a book called Baby Treasures by Linda Williams, absolutely beautiful book. I've almost finished another one so I will upload that one soon!
